LGBTQIA Cannabis Brands We Carry

Wherever you stand on the rainbow spectrum, we’re here to wish you the queerest time this June as we celebrate Pride month and LGBTQIA cannabis brands and events.

Remember, if you are not advocating for, uplifting and protecting black trans women, you are NOT doing it right. With a life expectancy between 35 and 37 years old, it is more imperative than ever to use whatever platform you have to fight for black trans rights.

Each June we see an influx of corporations slap a rainbow on their logo for 31 days as a marketing strategy. You know what we’re talking about — those companies who paid the big bucks to support anti-LGBTQIA+ administrations but are all of a sudden gay-friendly because more gays = more dollars.

As a company run primarily by individuals who identify as LGBTQIA+ (and also just decent human beings), we refuse to be one of those companies. Here are a few important things we’re doing this month to show our support and put our money where our mouth is.

  • We’re donating 10% of all THP #Pride shirt sales to the Trevor Project—a non-profit organization focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth. Buy yours here
  • The Higher Path will be at San Fernando Valley Pride on June 19th! Join us for a day of live performances, art installations, poetry, interactive art marking, drag show performances, vogue balls, networking, vending, and community resources.
  • Following the SFV Pride event we’re sponsoring, our Customer Appreciation Day this month will be jam packed with awesome live demos from our favorite Queer-Owned brands and of course sweet deals on all your favorite products.

Read on to learn how we’re partnering with 6 LGBTQIA cannabis brands to donate to nonprofits this month.

Cann

CANN we tell you how much we love this drink? No, seriously. With 2 mg of THC & 4 mg of CBD, this social tonic gives you a light and uplifted buzz, minus the hangover. With no added sugars and only 5 ingredients we really couldn’t imagine a better company to support as we head into the SFV heat this summer.

Drew Martin

Named after their founder, Drew Martins botanical blends were created to remind us of one really important fact: weed brings people together. After taking a year off from being a mixologist, world-traveler and generally awesome guy, Drew Martin created the perfect, low-dose pre-roll.

House of Saka

Wine night with the girls, but make it non-toxic. House of Saka, made for women by women, has the best cannabis-infused “wine” bottles on the market. House of Saka was inspired by the legend of the Saka, an ancient civilization of bold, mystical and fierce women who ruled the land and conquered all they desired and for whom the sacred cannabis plant was at the center of their spiritual and ritualistic rites of passage.

Sonder

Space. Crystals. Like pop-rocks, but for adults. Need we say more? We don’t, but we will anyway. Boosting 10 mg of THC per pack, these fun and delicious popping cannabis candies contain only 5 natural ingredients. All of the euphoria, none of the sugar rush. Try space crystals today and feel the magic.

Wyld

Wyld was named Oregon’s leading cannabis edible brand, and for good reason. Their gummies are infused with real fruit and botanical terpenes. With a large range of ratios and flavors, there’s a Wyld edible out there for everyone!

That’s all for now, folks! We can’t wait to celebrate Pride with you and our favorite LGBTQIA cannabis brands at all our awesome events listed above. Keep up with us on Instagram for up-to-date Pride happenings!

Medication + Taxation

One major argument brought up in regards to medical marijuana is that since it is a medicine it cannot be taxed; this is not true. Most
