What makes certain strains more creative than others?

Whether it is Indica, Sativa or Hybrid, there are over 100 strains out there that can ignite that creative spark inside of you. But what exactly makes a strain “creative”? Well, it all has to do with a word you have probably heard before–terpenes!

Terpenes are what give each marijuana strain its own unique scent that correlates to many different health benefits and effects. Typically, people may think that the creative strains lean more towards the Sativa side; however, strains that promote a euphoric and uplifting head buzz come in Indica and Hybrid as well. One of the more common terpenes that these certain strains share would be Pinene! Pinene is the pine- smelling aroma found in Sativas like Jack Herer and Strawberry Cough, the Indica Romulan and the Hybrids Blue Dream and OG Kush. Pinene invokes an alert, uplifting, euphoric and creative high that is perfect for when you want to sit down and create music, art, dance etc.! People might think that OG Kush can tend to be a little heavy, but this is only because of the terpene Myrcene, which helps one relax, but with the Pinene also being in effect, it just allows for a more mellow and creative buzz.
